Does Intake Of Primolut N Regularly Cause Side Effects?

Hi, i am 23 years age old. i will get regular periods,in may i got an abortion,because hear beat has not formed to baby. and oct i have taken primoult N tablets for 6 days and got periods after 2 days. now in november its already 14 days delayed and we have house warming ceremony can i take primoult n again. is it cause any danger?

Hello,

I understand your concern and Ann sorry about your abortion. Primolut N is a synthetic drug similar to the naturally occurring hormone Progesterone. It is usually given to treat menstrual irregularities and other cycle disorders. Before you take it again, I strongly recommend you take a pregnancy test first and then consult your doctor. The reason for this is that Primolut N is to be taken in specific days of your cycle, depending on the disorder that is being treated and this is the reason this drug should not be taken without doctor guidance.
