Does Intake Of Zoloft Cause Excess Sleepiness?

Zoloft is making me very Sleepy recently, I was having difficulty staying awake at work. I have been taking it since last 8 years. No problems until now. So I didn t take for two days 100mg. Now I am feeling kind of hyper, although no sleep issues or anxiety. May be I should take 50 mg now...suggestions?

Hello welcome to HCM. This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. Yes you can try for lesser doses as you have taken Zoloft for very long duration. Slowly you can taper it after taking guidance from your doctor. My intention is that Your problems should not reaggravate after stopping. Take care.
