Does Intake Of Contraceptive Pills Cause Irregular Periods?

Okay so I had my period the month of October in the beginning then when it was over me & my boyfriend had sex he ejaculated inside of me so the same day I had taken a plan b pill and I got my period again in the same month , so the whole month of November I didn t get it which cause me to think I was pregnant , so I took a test and they both came out negative now it s the beginning of December I still haven t gotten it and yesterday during the day I had wiped myself and saw literally a speck of blood then yesterday night I had sex again and afterward I bleed like a light period now this morning there is nothing at all I m worried also prior to this ? I had chlamiydia and I did take antibiotics for it .

Hi,

As per your query about contraceptive pills, they cause irregular periods and it is a very common side effects like spotting in between periods, nausea, constipation. You need not to worry as there is minimal chance of being pregnant and you should again confirm it with urine pregnancy test.

To be more confirmative you should also consult your gynecologist for other methods of contraception which are new like injectables contraception method.
