Does Intake Of Medication For Urine Incontinence Cause Delayed Periods?
Hi.... Last month I got my periods on 23rd and I was taking medicine for urine incontinence... But, till now I have not got my periods... Can you please suggest me some medicine to get my periods without any side effects in future... Am 31 years old.
Newer medications, dieting, severe exercise, excess weight loss and sometimes long travel, nutritional deficiencies can cause absent or delayed periods. You can wait for 2 to 3 weeks after your usual date of periods. In case of absent periods, hormonal pills can be taken to resume periods. But such drug prescription can only be done after clinical examination by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
