Hi. Recently I had to take the Plan B pill. I took this 5 days before my menstral cycle. Nothing happened until my cycle started. I ve taken one before and there was a short lived cycle two days after. I know why the short lived cycle happened. I m explain this in great detail so that you know the circumstances. Here is what concerns me... During menstration two large and flat clots appeared, approximately 2 x2 , fleshy white and red marble like color. One side of the clot was smooth the other bump like tapioca pudding bumpy and its constitution was gelatin like but slightly more dense. I ve been experiencing nausea and head aches since. No abnormal cramping. I m always exhausted during my cycle. Like sleep for 14 hrs straight exhausted. Prescription s include venlafaxine and flonase. So.. Should I go to the doctor?
Intake of Plan B does alter duration of menses in almost majority of women. This is of more concern when it is before a short period of predicted menses. In your case, you were in safe period of possible pregnancy and there was no need to consume Plan B at all. Anyway, now wait till next time menses cycle to get back previously normal menses rhythm. Must use additional contraceptive protection to avoid pregnancy till that time.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
