Biotin is very good for hair and skin and occurs naturally in many foods.
Wheat germ, whole-grain cereals, whole wheat bread, eggs, dairy products, peanuts, soya nuts, salmon, and chicken are all sources of biotin.
You can include the above mentioned in your diet to get appropriate amounts of biotin naturally.
The daily recommended dose is 30mcg for adults. In case you are taking a supplement, make sure your daily intake doesn’t exceed this much amount to take it for a long time.
Apart from that, Vit A and Vit E are also very good for hair. Daily recommended dose for Vit A is 900 mcg and for Vit E is 15 mcg.
But I would like to emphasize the fact that healthy hair depends on overall wellbeing and for that a balanced diet and proper nutrition that include all the micro and macronutrients is essential.
