Does Intercourse Affect One While Diagnosed With Chicken Pox?

My husband is having chickenpox now.Just seen few boils today.We are planning to have a child now.These days are ovulation days for me.Can I have sex intercourse now and if I conceive,is there any complications for the child?i didnot get any chicken pox before,I had only small measles during childhood.Kindly reply soon.

Hi, i had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Mam, In the initial stages chicken pox is highly infectious, though aerosol route, scabs contain virus. so patients has to take rest until scabs are completely fall off. Otherwise others get infected by the virus.
Coming having sex, better is avoid for sometime, because you may get infected easily. And that can cause complications during pregnancy.
So please avoid until its completely relieved.
