Does Intercourse After A Miscarriage Cause Pregnancy?
I recently had a miscarriage (which was ideal for me as I was not ready to have a baby). I started bleeding on Feb. 4 and was having some spotting. I was told this was normal and that I should not be alarmed. That being said, I had intercourse on Feb. 5 and my partner ended up ejaculating inside of me. On Feb 11, late last night, I was experiencing very heaving cramping and spotting had increased with small clots. I went to the ER where I was diagnosed and given ultra sound and blood test. The ultra sound showed that my uterus was cleared and I had a complete miscarriage and the bleeding I have no is just spotting and my hcg levels were at 2,411 which is very low since I was supposed to be 8 weeks along at that point. However, when I told the doctor and my gynecologist about my intercourse on the 5th they told me I could still be at risk of getting pregnant again (but the intercourse occurred literally one day from when I started bleeding. I want to know what are the changes that I could be pregnant from the intercourse that occurred on the 5th with the fact that my hcg levels are still kind of on the high side and I was told from the ultra sound that my uterine lining looks to be thinking and I am at possible for ovulating and getting my period soon
