Does Intercourse Post Surgery Cause Shortness Of Breath?
My boyfriend has a fear or sex after surgery because he thinks it will shorten his breathing, how can I reassure him. He practically runs up my stairs with heavy objects in his hands and he walks 45 min three times a week. His surgery was done in 2012.

Sex has no relation with shortness of breath. What kind of surgery did he have in 2012? Anyway if he is comfortable doing heavy work, then having intercourse will not cause any problems. Maybe he just has a psychological fear of something. If so he might need counselling in the matter. Physically he should be fine after a surgery which happened in 2012. Anyway I would require more details about the surgery and his history. Take care.
