Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Intercystal Cystitis Cause Pelvic Pain And Frequent Urination?
I have been previously diagnosed intercystal cystitis still having pain across the pelvic area and back, eyes itch and back pain. I do have have frequent urination; however do experience burning during urination and before. Back and pelvic area hurt all the way around. Could this still be intercystal cystitis? Or does it sound like something else. I am 75 years old, and in general good health outside of these symptoms.
Intestinal cystitis may cause burning micturition, increased frequency of urine and pelvic pain but to confirm this need cystoscopy, biopsy etcetera.
I think you may be suffering from urinary infection with cystitis. Please get the urine examination done, ultrasound abdomen and cystoscopy are also useful.
Please consult your physician so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
