Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This is for educational purpose. Since aneurysms are basically weakened vascular walls which bulge from an artery/vein, is it possible to treat the enlargement through vasoconstriction or endovascular hypothermia to restore the structure of the vessel back to its original frame? Then again, with induced hypothermia which can be only a short-lived effect instead of permanent, would this cause the pressure inside the vessel walls to build up and potentially cause a stroke? It s funny that we re using therapeutic hypothermia for ischemic stroke treatment but never considered it for aneurysms. Can intracranial hypertension cause aneurysms and that the dilatation is a resort to reduce pressure within the blood vessels?
this way treatment is not possible. it is theoretical.second opinion can be taken. surgical option is also to be considered and compared. in between if it burst may lead to serious consequence leading to hemo rage in arachnoid space
