My mother often said to keep a child s feet warm to prevent an earache. I am wonering why since we know it is a bacterial or viral problem, an earache. Perhaps it is related to a histamine reaction which causes something in the ear to swell and, then, maybe block in some bacteria? I do know that when we did keep the kids feet warm, they did not get any earaches and it does not feel like a coincidence. Could you tell me if there is a relationship among MD s between cold feet and earaches?
