Does Kidney Stone Cause Pain In The Body?

I had a kidney stone several years ago but never passed it and now my back and front on one side of my body hurts all the time and although I drink a lot of water my urren is still real dark. Do you think I still have the kidney stone? And if so how do they treat this condition.

hi
thanks for posting on hcm
your symptoms are suspicious of still having a kidney stone.
i would advice you to see a doctor who may do a ultrasound, kub kidney or ct abdomen to see the presence of the stone and it's location.
if a stone is present treatment options depend upon the size of the stone and it's location in the body, usually if it is less than 5mm and is in the urine tubes it passes spontaneously in the urine, if the size is more and is high up in the kidney treatment options depend upon the size, health condition of the patient.
hope this is helpful to you.
regards
