Does Kissing A HIV Positive Person Cause Sore Throat And Swelling Of Tonsils?
I recently kissed an HIV positive girl and 36 hours later i developed a sore throat and feverish conditions. The sore throat subsided after a day but the fever continued for a week. The fever is over but before it ended i developed swollen tonsils on the left side which has refused to go.Is it possible that i have contracted HIV because i am not sure if either of us was bleeding in the mouth or not

No, just kissing does not causes hiv infection. It is transmitted by sexual contact or blood to blood contact. Moreover your symptoms are due to some other infection because huv dont produce symptoms in 72 hours.and symptoms are also not related to hiv symptoms. You may have some upper respiratory tract infection so go to the doctor and take treatment of that.dont worry.just relaxed.
