Does Lemonade Cause Acidity And Indigestion?

I am experience acid indigestion and occasion chills after drinking too many Mikes Hard Lemonade last Wednesday. It seems to have thrown off my digestive cycle. Is this a common occurence. I have had several hard lemonades in the past without this experience

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Occasional consumption of lemonade should not cause any problem.
However, it could cause gastric irritation as acid in citrus fruits increases the acid in your stomach and can lead to acid reflux, which sometimes results in nausea and vomiting, particularly when consumed on empty stomach.
Taking over-the-counter antacid medication should overcome such problems, when encountered occasionally.
