Does Light Bleeding Before Period Suggest Pregnancy?

i had sex 2 days before my ovulation day and I now I m having a light period 3 days before my period is due. I have a lot of tightness feeling in my uterus area and my breasts have been sore for a few days now... i just took a pregnancy test and it says negative. is there a chance i could be pregnant? should i wait a few more days to take another pregnancy test? or could my period just be early?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Light bleeding 3 days before periods could be due to implantation bleed as you had intercourse timed during your ovulation.
Well, your pregnancy test could be negative, because it is too early to be detected in urine.
You can wait for another week and repeat the urine pregnancy test again. If it is positive, then it says that you have conceived.
In case it comes negative, then kindly check your blood for beta-HCG and get a pelvic ultrasound scan done. Kindly consult Gynecologist with the reports for appropriate management.
In the mean time, if you get your periods, then it says that you have not conceived and you have to try it again.
