Does Light Red Bleeding 10 Days After Taking Choriomon Injection Indicate Period / Abortion And What Should Be Done?
hey I take choriomon injection 2 of 5000 iu in 18th dayof period where I have 3 follicles sized 18 & 20 &21 and now after 10 days of choriomon injection I got bleeding light red with abdominal pain isthis period or abortion help me plz what can I do ?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Just by bleeding it is difficult to judge the possibility of miscarriage at this stage. Because ultrasound may not be able to detect the pregnancy this much early. And also blood test for pregnancy may give false positive results due to the 10,000 iu beta hcg injection taken 10 days back. So, consult gynecologist once and take progesterone tablets. Better to prefer natural micronized progesterone. If the bleeding is due to implantation or if there is of possibility of miscarriage, progesterone tablets can prevent it to some extent. If the bleeding is due to menstrual flow, that may continue as regular flow. If you want you can go for one expensive, limitedly available test called as rosette inhibition assay test. Hello! Thanks for your query. To confirm that you are pregnant you should do immediately a TVS . Abdominal pain and bleeding may be from miscarriage or periods.
