Does Long Strings In Stools Indicate Signs Of Infection?
Hi I just went to the bathroom an saw these long cream colored strings in my stool. I have had my gullbladder taken out an certain foods still up set my stomach but is this a parasite or signs of infection? My cat just got treated for tape worms can humans catch them too?

Well, if I were your treating consultant, I would consider your significant surgical / contact history and must think of some fat malabsorption or stool infection in your case; this could be foaminess of stool, amebiasis and even worm infestation but you have to do at least a basic stool examination first!
I also suggest you to go for a microbiological/ PATHOLOGICAL test of the stool / secretion for confirmation and to relieve your concerns!
