Does Long Term Use Of Risperdal, Wellbutrin, Xanax And Adderall Cause Anxiety?

Well Im on several medications, I;m not saying that they are not working (not sure on a couple of them.) I just don t understand how each one is helping me? and how long will I need to take this particular cocktail? I heard you should switch after awhile as they can cause anxiety if your on them too long? I take 1 respirdal 1mg before bed. I take 1 Wellbutrin 300mg when I start my day. I am prescribed two 1mg tablets a day of xanax. I take those as needed. Never finish the bottle by the time comes to get another script. And finally, I am prescribed two 30 mg adderalls and take them as needed as well. Same thing as mentioned earlier by the time I get my refill there are still some left over. Need some accurate feedback please!

Risperidal (risperidone) is commonly used as an antipsychotic. Wellbutrin (Bupropion) is an antidepressant. And, I am not sure whether they are prescribed for these reasons. But bupropion can increase respiridone effects by altering its metabolism.
Xanax (alprazolam) is used to reduce anxiety and for sedation. Adderall (ampetamine/dextroampetamine) is used to increase concentration span. I am not sure about how you use them when you say as needed. I would like to know whether they were prescribed to be used as needed or not.
But Adderall can increase the side effect of Wellbutrin. And Xanax can enhance the depressant effect of risperidone.
Even though there are many interactions, you may as well take them if absolutely needed but with close and regular monitoring. You can discuss these points with your prescriber and fine tune the dosages and medications. Hope this helps. Thanks.
