Does Lymphoma Cause Itchy Red Bumps On The Body?

Have red itchy bumps in various places on my body. Start with a stinging, short-lived pain. Red bumps occur. If I allow myself to scratch it, the itching increases. I have kidney failure (40 GFR) and thought that might be cause. My doctor says if kidneys would be overall dry, itchy skin. He has referred me to a dermotologist. Could this be sign of Lymphoma?

As per your case history of red bumps all over body, my treatment advice is -

1. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
2. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
3. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist. Lymphoma cannot be diagnosed on basis of skin lesions, it requires investigations and skin biopsy.
