Does Masturbation Before Puberty Onset Slow Down The Growing Process?
does masterbation before you hit puberty slow down the process of growing into a man because im 16 and everyone around me have already gone through puberty. I started noticing pubic hairs when i have 11 and thats when i started masturbating and have been doing it ever since and i would like to know if i stop masterbating would it help go through puberty faster?
I can understand your dilemma, as it is a very common complaint for which lots of boys of your age come to my clinic.
Please understand that puberty is the transition phase to adulthood and during which all secondary sexual characteristics undergo development. It includes an increase in sexual desire.
Masturbation is a perfectly NORMAL phenomenon in the adolescents. So, there is no need whatsoever of being ashamed of it. Further, masturbation has NO effect whatsoever, on puberty.
So, just relax and shed all your misplaced apprehensions, son.
Enjoy your adolescence to the fullest...and all the best
