Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been prescribed Maxitrol for kereatitis and have been taking it for 2 weeks. My eye has started to get itchy and stinging should I sto?. I was never advised how long I should take it for. I don t have another appointment with the eye clinic for another 2 weeks as they are busy. Thanks
It is not related to maxitrol. As a first line management you can do methyl cellulose drops for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
