Does Medication Of TB Have Side Effect On Sex Life?

respected sir! i had tb 10 years ago. since then i am feeling tb medication have decreased my sex power. now i am 34 years old. i am getting married soon. i just want to know dose medication of tb have side effect on sex life? or is it my only fear? plz help me-

Thanks for using HealthCareMagic.

You had history of TB 10 years ago, pretty long time.TB itself can affect sexual life but not so anti TB medicines.Even in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, after treatment with Anti TB medicines,sexual dysfunction improves.
If by chance some drug can cause some dysfunction,it can not last so long.

It seems that your problem regarding your sex life is more psychological rather than physical.Best thing is to consult a psychiatrist/qualified sexologist with your old reports if you have and take a session of counselling regarding sex life.that will probably clear your problem.
