I started losing a LOT of hair about a month ago. About 2-3 months ago, my gyne started me on Loestrin24Fe birth control to help with sypmtoms of menopause, which is in full swing for me. I went back to her and she wants to change the type of pill I'm on, which I dread because I always have such a hard time adjusting. Can you lose hair as much as 5 months after a very stressful event? Or do many menopausal women experience such crazy hair loss? I'm trying to piece together whether this is just a normal function of menopause or if it's connected to starting on birth control.
