Does Milk Consumption Help In Hair Growth?

How many glasses of milk do I have to drink to grow at least an inch in hair ?since I realized that my little sis is only 7 years old and she had been drinking 3 and 4 cups of milk a day and I noticed her hair growth just sparked,it s almost past my hair length .

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Composition of Cow's milk is:
1. Fat approximately 3 to 4 percent of the solid content
2. protein about 3.5 percent and
3. lactose 5 percent.
Although milk contains a phosphoprotein called 'casein', it is not proven that it would help directly in hair growth. Hence, it is difficult to tell that milk is the sole cause for hair growth and how much quantity to be taken.
Hair growth is dependent on many other factors and not just protein nutrition.
Hope the information provided is clear.
All the best.
