Does Missed Period Indicate Symptom Of Early Pregnancy?

Hi. My girl friend is having irregular periods but last 2 months it is happening between 1 to 6th each month. We had intercourse on 30 th of April and practically she should be having here period on May 1 st onwards but till now it didnt happen. Will it be an early symptom of pregnancy.? If yes till when we can do safe abortion and how much it will cost.? Whether she will have any pain.? We have to go with abortion as marriage is fixed next year only.
