Does Missing A Dose Of Birth Control Pill Cause Brown Vaginal Bleeding?

Hi, so I was sexually active a week ago, and I am on birth control. It was unprotected and he finished inside me. I missed my birth control pill 2 days ago, so I took 2 pills yesterday to balance things out. My period isn t due for another 9 days. But today I had brown discharge, but the amount was very small... Is this because I missed that 1 pill or is this implantation bleeding?!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Missing birth control pills two days ago-How many doses one or two? Still, your period is more than 9 days, so it is not in safe period time. Brownish discharge is one day wait and watches if the period continues after that. If not go for OG check-up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
