I bought cloves of garlic without the skin on. I put them in the refrigerator in a zip lock bag. Only a week later I discovered one had mold on it. Are the rest ok to consume? I washed the rest, put them in a paper towel and back in the refrigerator. Also, does moldy garlic have benefits to diabetes?
Hello, I would advise you to refrain from using this moldy pack of garlic. Use of garlic has been shown to help in controlling cholesterol levels and is a good antioxidant, however you should give more importance in the meticulous control of your blood sugar levels by taking proper antidiabetic medicines, observing proper dietary controls and doing regular aerobic exercises for atleast 45 minutes a day. Thanks
