Hello there, I am sorry that you have been detected diabetic recently. However let me tell you one thing that there are studies now that prove that those who are detected diabetic live healthier lives because of the changes that they bring in their lives to control sugars. Usually when adults get diabetes it is of type 2 variety so I presume that you also maybe having type 2 Diabetes. I am afraid to inform you that So far there has been no cure for type 2 diabetes although research is on full swing in the same area of science. However many medications are now available which make controlling diabetes lot easier than before and can prevent one from developing the complications of diabetes. Till then do visit a diabetologist who can thoroughly examine you and advise relevant blood tests and start you on therapy and can also keep you posted if any cure is discovered. Till then try to reduce carbohydrate content of your meals and stop all sugars.
