Does My Ultrasonography Result Indicate The Need For A Surgery?
hi....i am 38 years old i had moyma surgery 2 years agoooo.nw my period is not regular.after ultrasonography there is an ill defined small hypoechoic area (about 12mm into 9mm)seen in anterior wall of uterus near fundus.rest myometrium appears uniform. Endometrial thickness is within normal limit (4.7mm)do i need surgery once again or it can be solve with medicine?
based on what you said, such myoma doesn't pose an immediate threat and can be controlled via medications. oral contraceptive pills used for birth control can be used in treating myoma. Take one pill daily for 28 days. If your periods still remain irregular and heavy, a surgery to remove uterus can also be performed (hysterectomy) incase you feel your family is complete.
wish you safe and swift recovery
