Does Myomectomy At An Early Age Reduce The Chances Of Pregnancy?

I recently misscarried at the end of 7 weeks and I intially believed there was a connection to a large fibroid which was discovered a day or two prior. After the misscarriage I saw a general surgeon for the myomectomy information but seemed convinced that the misscarriage had nothing to do with the fibroid. The misscarriage was a result of "older eggs". His greatest concern would be having to deliver via c-section. I turned 38 in August (the month I became pregnant) and decided against the surgery since having a c-section is of no concern to me. I almost feel that a myomectomy at my age would decrease my chances of getting pregnant. Please advise.
