Does Narrowness Of Large Intestine Cause Intermittent Numbness In Leg And Abdomen?

My mother is feeling intermittent left leg numbness that travels to her lower abdomen. Started about 2 weeks ago and is gradually getting worse and more frequent. Its actually happening every couple of minutes now. When it happens her leg "locks" up momentarily. She had a colonoscopy done (not sure why) after seeing her doctor last week and the only thing they found was that her large intestine was very narrow - no growths or abnormal tissue. Please help and thank you in advance for whatever help you may be able to offer.
