Does Negative Result In HIV Tridot Test Mean No Risk?
dr. i was exposed with my girlfriend in ninth month of this year . after that i got worried coz that was unprotected sex. but after sex, i made her for tridot test and result was negitive. i was still woried.after around 45 days i request her to get one more hiv tridot test .that was also result negitive . should i be worried now or forget all ?
Hi there Friend. If I were your girlfriend, believe me I would have ditched you in a flash. You are 'equally' responsible for the 'unprotected sex' perhaps more so. It is you then who should be getting tested instead of subjecting the poor lass to the tests & casting aspersions on her past! If you are so concerned, please get a PCR test done for mRNA on yourself & this will give you a much more accurate assessment of the situation given the time frames' involved. The tridot test or Elisa test done at a 6 mths interval & turning out negative too suffices. For best results henceforth, do practice safe sex always or try monogamy /marriage if condoms bother you. Should you require a one on one interaction & discussion, please feel free to use our private portal & or come across to Vikram Hospital, Bangalore to take the discussion further. Godspeed.
