Does Oral Iodine Supplement Cause Gastric Ulcers?

I have been taking oral iodine supplement VIOLET for mastalgia for the last 2months..it has worked. Unfortunately, i just got home from the hospital after bout of severe n/v/epigastric pain and was found to have gastric ulcers. I am very healthy usually! can iodine supplements do this?

No , oral iodine could not have caused this , even at this dosage. There must be some other reason for your gastric ulcers. Infact Iodine is used to detect squamous cell carcinoma in oesophagus.
