Does Ovarian Cyst Cause Nausea, Vomiting And Pain In Left Quadrant?

I went to the ER two nights in a row before i got a diagnosis. I was having lower left quadrant pain,nasuea,vomiting. Well the second visit the dr decided to do a CT scan. He came back thirty minutes later and said we have a diagnosis. he said you have a ovarian cyst 5cm in diameter.he sent me home with nasuea meds and pain meds. I stopped taking the pain meds because it wasn t touching the pain. And everytime i try to eat or drink i start vomiting and cannot stop. and the pain is worse,but now it s under my belly button. what do i do?

Understanding your concern. As per your are wondering if ovarian cyst cause nausea, vomiting and pain in left quadrant. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like acute pancreatitis , ovarian cyst , splenomegaly , gastroenteritis , irritable Bowel Syndrome or pyelonephritis . I would suggest your consult gynecologist for proper examination . Doctor may do further test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory or may recommend surgery . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take antiemetic drug .
