Does Overactive Thyroid Cause Fainting And Dizziness?
I blacked out 2 weeks ago, since then i have been very dizzy, feeling like a drunk when i walk. I went to the Dr. she run some blood tests and it shows that i have overactive thyroid, can that be cousing me to black out and feel dizzy? What do i need to do next?
Hello, I have gone carefully through your query. Over active thyroid or hyperthyroidism can cause these symptoms in severe stages and usually it is associated with other symptoms such as: fast heart rate or palpitation, weight loss, sweating, diarrhoea ect. Your treating physician will prescribe medications to lower the thyroid hormonal level and will try to find the cause of over active thyroid (autoiimune thyroiditis, nodular goiter ect). For a personalised comprehensive evaluation, treatment recommendations, or individual therapy, ask me at HealthCareMagic at this private link: HCM Dr. Guni
