Does Overdose Of Amitriptyline Cause Any Side Effects?

So I’m on amitriptyline eevail for a concussion to help with the headaches and I’m on a dose of 10mg each night. I haven’t been home for the past 3 days so I have forgotten to take my pill each night so tonight I accidentally took 4 pills to make up for my skipped doses forgetting that I can’t really do that and I am worried to go to sleep for the night will I be okay ?

Amitriptilyne is a drug that needs special care to not overdose. If you only got of it at once probably you will feel more tired and sleepy for the next 1-2 days and after that all might come back to normal. Still please make sure you do not exceed doses recommended as it may really cause bad effects and can be dangerous in overdose.
