Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my upper back and back of arms when over-exerting myself. It feels like I ve been running a marathon. When I stop the activity and rest, the pain goes away. These episodes have become more frequent lately. I have a history of sarcoidoisis. Could this be due to that or maybe angina?
I think your symptoms are related to sarcoidosis because it gives pain in the hands, feet, or other bony areas due to the formation of cysts (an abnormal sac-like growth) in bones.
I suggest doing an electrocardiogram to be sure because sarcoidosis gives heart problems like arrhythmia etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
