Hello sir, I m 26 of age now, I m suffering from diabeties and some mental stress for the last 6-7 years. My main point of worry is that I m sufferring from phimosis for the last two years, also tend to have thrush underneath my foreskin, size is also very thin and small abt 2.5 inch when eract. Now I am afraid abt my upcomming sexual life more becos of this phimosis. Can I be able to perform sexually??, is this phimosis and thrush/candida cureable???, whom should I consult so that I can get proper treatment without circumcision. Also like to mention that when I try to stretch a bit harder my foreskin swellows and the sides sometines starting bleeding like small scratches on different sides of foreskin. PLEASE HELP
Phimosis refers to a disorder where the tight foreskin cannot be pulled back over the head of the penis. Tight foreskin can occur due to an infection, inflammation, or scarring from an underling condition. Diabetes could be the cause of phimosis and sugar levels should be controlled and anti-fungal cream should be used for reducing candidiasis.
Corticosteroid cream can be applied on the foreskin and massaged to make the skin more supple. Pain killers like ibuprofen can also be taken. Surgical options include preputioplasty or frenuloplasty. Sexual activity can be resumed 6 weeks after treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
