Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My girlfriend and I had protected sex but the condom broke but I never ejaculated it was just pre-ejaculation, we got her a plan b 5 days later and took a pregnancy test. The test came out negative and the pill is in her system, should we be worried about her getting pregnant?
Preejaculatory fluids contain sperms but the quantity will be less. However, there is a chance for pregnancy even with pre-ejaculatory fluid.
As the test came as negative, nothing much to worry. If you are worried, you can simply go for a beta-HCG test to confirm whether you are pregnant or not.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
