Does Radiation Thyroid Ablation Cause Tiredness And Muscle Pains?
Hello, I have had a radiation thyroid ablation about 2 weeks ago.. I am feeling just as bad as before I had it. I am totally exhausted,, just walking tires me out. I have a lot of muscle pains and no strength at all. I know it takes time for this proceedure to work, but how long will this last. It is very hard for me to keep up at work and Im afraid that will effect my job. thanks

From the symptoms that you described, it seems that you are having symptoms of hypothyroidism. Muscle cramps is a very prominent symptom in patients who develop hypothyroidism after long standing hyperthyroidism.
