Does Rashes On Shoulder/knee And Joint/back Pain Indicate Sign Of HIV?
Dear Dr, i had protected sex on 11/12/2010. after three months i noticed that there are rashes on my right sholder, knee joint pain and back pain. etc., are they initial symptoms of hiv. i dont have other symptoms like fever and other common symptoms. when should i go to for testing.

HI Thanks for posting your query to HCM .
First of all it's very unlikely to get HIV infection after a protected sex , so I don't think you have HIV . And the rashes what you are having is not due to HIV but something else .
But still if you are feeling very anxious you can get HIV testing now as 3 months is enough for HIV infection to show on Blood tests .
