Does Reading Small Print While Having 20/50 Vision And Stigmatism Strain The Eyes?

Hi. I have a question. So, I have 20/50 vision in both eyes, and have a stigmatism in both as well. I usually prefer the smallest text size on my phone (before I got glasses I could see the small print fine, when I did get glasses I can see it better). But should I keep the small print? Will it strain and damage my eyes?
