Does Regular Intake Of Ativan Cause Any Side Effects?
Yes I have been taking ativan for quite a few years. It does help my anxiety. I only take when needed. Can I get immune to this? My Dr. wants me to switch to a maintenance pill i.e., paxil. I did try them and I felt tightness in my chest so I stopped taking them. I have had many heartbreaks this year. I m trying to get calm and adjust to the changes. What do you suggest? Will it harm me to take ativan/lorazapam like I have been?

Long term use of Ativan is not recommended. It might cause adverse effects like dependency and withdrawal symptoms while stopping it.
