I am 38 years old and sing in a rock band and have a naturally raspy growly "rock" voice. I have recently been told I should get my tonsils removed for numerous health reasons. Will this or can this affect the raspyness of my voice? Is the growl in my voice produced by my tonsils being there?
hello, thanks for ur query, voice which is generated by voice box modulated by tongue , lip, tooth, palate. anatomically or physiologically tonsil is not related to voice. go ahead for d surgery, I feel practice makes ur singing voice perfect. all the best. take care.
