Hello.
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I went through your child's history and would like to make following suggestions for you:
1. I would like to know more about your daughter's symptoms - how many attacks of asthma she has had so far? What is her current age? Do you smoke otherwise, if not around your child or in home? How severe her asthma is? Did she require admission?
Based on these details, I would be able to help you better.
2. In fact
childhood asthma is different from adult asthma. Asthma-like symptoms can be caused by repeated viral infections or some other conditions. Repeated infections can also be caused if one's immunity is poor.
3. Regarding, residual on clothing causing asthma, sometimes such things may trigger a single or two asthma attacks, but I would not say only such things can cause asthma.
Allergy testing and some other reports would be necessary in my view to make diagnosis.
4. In general, I would suggest avoidance of all types of smokes, air pollution and dusts to both you and your daughter.
Hope above information will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish you and your daughter the best of the health ahead.
Thank you & Regards.
