Does Reticulated Papillomatosis Have Any Alternative Medication?
Hello, my name is Orlando Banks jr. I am a 18 year old African American make who has been diagnosed with confluent and reticulated papillomatosis I been diagnosed for about 10 months now. I been taking minocycline 100mg for about 3 months with little signs of it clearing up. Also the dermatologist recommended ketoconzole 200mg ( if that s how you spell it) I tried that for a week and nothing happened. Could anyone recommend an medication or natural remedies to help clear it up? Also i am allergic to penicillin and I have asthma. An in addition I don t smoke cigarettes or do any drugs. If someone could get back to me I would greatly appreciate it.
Minocycline clears reticulated papillomatosis in most patients, for unknown reasons. Alternatively, you can use combined treatment with an antimycotic cream (miconazole cream) 1 time a day evening and steroid cream ( budesonide 0.025 % crema) 1 time a day morning for 3 weeks following.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
