General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Though the cyst is on right side, pain can be felt over left ovary because the left ovary gets burden for functioning for ovulation as other one being diseased. Response to hormone therapy used for its resolution depends upon individual characteristics of patient as well as cyst contents. Kindly remain in regular follow up with your OBGYN for best guidelines of therapy and periodic assessment of the same.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
