hi my name is varsha, I am doing skipping daily in both morning and evening is it hamful for my uterus??. my friends told like doing skipping daily will make my utreus to go down so it will affect once if i am going to be pregnant. please suggest me whether is it good or bad??.
Jumping rope (or skipping rope) is comparable to jogging at a moderately quick pace in terms of the amount of impact on your cervix. The main thing you need to be aware of is whether you feel any uterine contractions while you're jumping rope -- if you do, you probably need to switch to another form of activity. The last thing you want to happen is to go into premature labor due to the pounding of your uterus on your cervix as you jump! Also, be aware of any discomfort you may feel due to the bouncing of your belly and breasts. If necessary, invest in some maternity support garments to minimize the bounce.
In terms of risk for your baby, there really isn't any other than being born too early. Many women continue to run or perform other high-impact activities throughout their pregnancies with no negative effects on themselves or their babies. You just need to be sure to listen to your body and pay attention when it gives you a signal to slow down!
