Hi,
Noted your history well and understood the concerns.
Singling while having any throat problem or laryngeal problems is strictly no.
Singing is not only vocal; cord movement the whole laryngeal and pharyngeal area takes part in modulation of voice hence singing will cause increased inflammation of the parts concerned.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for Laryngo-pharyngeal
endoscopy and have proper diagnosis.
Go for any additional tests like throat swab, tests of blood and so on as may be advised.
Proper complete course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines.
Take warm liquids.
Stop singing, in fact talking in raised voice.
Start singling only after the ENT Surgeon says go for it otherwise the changes may be permanent and incurable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
